In land reclamation and other related projects,tidal silt with high water content is generally mixed with low content solidified material for solidification treatment.As a result,the characteristics of solidified soil are different from that of conventional cemented soil.In this paper,the physical properties,unconfined compressive strength,compression and consolidation characteristics of the solidified tial silt with high water content in Ningbo are studied.The main influencing factors of the solidified silt samples are initial water content,curing agent content and curing age.The main researches are as follows.(1)The density,water content,specific gravity and the crucial water content coefficient of the solidified silt at different ages were measured,and the physical characteristics of the solidified silt were demonstrated.The normalized formula of density,water content and specific gravity of solidified silt and the prediction formula of void ratio are established.The structural characteristics of solidified silt are analyzed from the law of liquid and plastic limit.(2)The rule of unconfined compression strength of different proportion of solidified silt under different ages was analyzed.The unconfined compression test was carried out to analyze the size effect of compressive strength,the stress-strain relationship,the law of the failure strain and the deformation coefficient.(3)The compressive strength of the solidified silt was respectively characterized by the total water cement ratio(w/Aw),the custom integrated parameters of EAT,and curing agent formula quantity(Cm).A total of four strength models with the above parameters are established.The theoretical minimum formulation and the minimum recommended formula are defined,and the corresponding minimum curing agent content is given at each initial water content,thereby quantitatively dividing the mixing ratio of low and high content.(4)The compression curves of the different types of curing silt under different ages were compared with each other in different ways,and the relationship between the compression curve and the age,the content of the curing agent and the initial water content was obtained.The compression curve model of solidified silt with high water content was established.The compression index,such as the structural yield stress,the compression index before and after the yielding,Cs and Cc,were analyzed.(5)The variation of consolidation coefficient of different solidified silt with load was analyzed.The results showed that the curing agent plays an important role in the consolidation pressure before the yield stress.
