| Nowadays,Construction industry is developing at a furious pace with the rapid development of China’s economy,a lot of construction waste were been made from the building demolition.How to use and reuse these construction wastes has been a problem that needs to be solved urgently for the building structure researchers.In this paper,waste fiber length,volume content of waste fiber,recycled aggregate replacement ratio,slenderness ratio and axial compression ratio were considered as the parameters to study the axial compression and seismic performance about waste fiber recycled concrete column.13 columns of waste fiber recycled concrete and 1 column of ordinary concrete were designed in total.Lateral deformation curve,ultimate bearing capacity,hysteresis curve,skeleton curve,stiffness degradation and the dissipation capacity of the test specimens were studied using the nonlinear finite element software ABAQUS,it came to some conclusions as follows:(1)In order to verify the correctness of finite element analysis software ABAQUS for the specimen,Finite element simulations of waste fiber recycled concrete column in different eccentricity were made at first.Finite element analysis results were consistent with the experimental results.So,it is feasible to use ABAQUS to do the simulation.(2)The failure Process of waste fiber recycled concrete column was similar with the ordinary concrete column,including elastic deformation stage,crack development stage,steel yield stage and failure stage.(3)The ultimate bearing capacity of waste fiber recycled concrete column dropped after the first growth with the increasing of the recycled aggregate replacement ratio.When waste fiber length is 19mm,incorporation was 0.12%and no recycled aggregate;the bearing capacity would be the largest.The ultimate bearing capacity of waste fiber recycled concrete column would reduce with the increasing of the recycled aggregate replacement ratio.It shows that recycled aggregate replacement ratio influence the bearing capacity of the column.Slenderness ratio has an impact on the waste fiber recycled concrete column as well the bearing capacity of the column would be decreased when slenderness ratio was increased.(4)Simulating the waste fiber recycled concrete column using the finite element software,the value of normal section bearing capacity is larger than it the design specifications.It shows that Concrete Design Specification is feasible when it is used for waste fiber recycled concrete.(5)The seismic performance of waste fiber recycled concrete column dropped after the first growth with the increasing of the recycled aggregate replacement ratio.When waste fiber length is 19mm,incorporation was 0.12%and no recycled aggregate,all of the hysteresis curve,stiffness degradation and the seismic performance are the best.(6)Axial compression ratio has a certain effect on the seismic performance of waste fiber recycled concrete column.When its value is small,skeleton curve appeared a smooth reduction,Ultimate displacement is large,stiffness degradation is better,and it’s good for seismic performance.(7)The incorporation of waste fiber limit the cracking of concrete in some extent,thus it delay the deformation of column.It shows that stiffness degradation of the waste fiber recycled concrete is better than it is of the ordinary concrete. |
