The hydraulic transient process is caused by the change of the load of the hydraulic turbine unit,and the water hammer pressure wave,surge chamber and surge chamber combined as a whole in the research.The safe operation of the power plant and the quality of electric energy is directly related to the quality of the transition process.In the process of large wave transition,the increase of pipeline pressure and the rise of the turbine speed are the most prominent problems,both of which threaten the safety of the power station,which need plenty of researches.However,the transient process of the small fluctuation occurs frequently in normal operation of the power station,it's regulatory performance has a great influence on electric energy.The significance of the research on the transition process is to provide the basis for the design of the water supply system,and to evaluate the safety and stability of the power plant.In this paper,based on the extensive reading and research results of predecessors,the numerical solution of transient process is discussed based on the theory of transient flow.In the northwest of a long distance diversion type power plant,using characteristic line method combined with the boundary conditions,established the mathematical model of the transition process of pressure pipeline,surge chamber and turbine,calculated the power plant water system transient process by simulation.The change of the unit speed,the pipeline pressure and the surge in surge chamber is analyzed in detail,and the regulating quality of the transient process is simulated.This paper provides flywheel torque,reasonable adjusting the optimal design parameters of the pressure chamber,wicket Closure Rule and the initial setting of PID governor parameters for power station,and tests the results,and provides a theoretical basis for the safe and stable operation of the power plant.
