| The insulation reliability of high-voltage electrical equipment directly affects the stability of the power system. The partial discharge is not only the precursor of the insulation fault but the reason of the insulation deterioration. Therefore,in order to have a safe and stable system, the effective partial discharge detection of the equipment must be carried out and the corresponding fault diagnosis must be taken. However, the accuracy of the discharge measurement is closely related to the performance of the partial discharge calibrator which assumes the calibration task in the discharge test. But the manufacturing technique of the current domestic partial discharge calibrator is poor, the measurement accuracy and practicability should be improved. Therefore,a new partial discharge calibrator is designed. In this thesis, based on the principle of the coupling capacitance method, the thesis analyzes the influence of the pulse waveform on the calibration accuracy. The IEC60270 which provides the local discharge calibration method,The hardware design of the main circuit is done according to the structure of the calibrator, which including the amplitude and frequency adjustment circuit, peak detection circuit and power amplifier circuit. The design achieves the control of calibration output pulse waveform amplitude adjustment, frequency adjustment, peak detection and power amplification. It is more conducive to complete the diverse calibration tasks. In order to verify the feasibility of the partial discharge calibrator system, the hardware circuit of the calibration instrument is simulated by Mulitisim and the experimental results are tested. Finally, the test and analysis results show that the proposed partial discharge calibrator system design attains the accuracy measurement, and the hardware system operates stably which meets the design requirements. |
