The Research On Detection Of Partial Discharge In Generator

Based on analyzing the development of partial discharge technology over the world, the cause and the hazard of the partial discharge are studied. The type and characteristic of the discharge occurring in generator is developed, and then the principle and method which are used to measure discharge based on pulse-current, supersonic wave, super-frequency are introduced. Furthermore, the hardware and software of each discharge measuring system is introduced too. At last, we use these three method to measure one generator, the results show that the end of the generator has very large discharge, we discover that there is insulation flaw. The application result show that these three methods comminuted to measuring partial discharge can reach the requirement and has a potential applying prospect.
