Steel slag is a kind of solid waste produced in the smelting process of iron and steel,and it causes a lot of accumulation due to its large amount of emissions and low utilization rate and make great pressure to the local environment and economy.At present,the utilization rate of steel slag is about 10%,so it is of great significance to promote the utilization of steel slag.Recently,the application of modern self-compacting concrete(SCC)has been paid more and more attention by all over the world.Aggregate is accounted for 50% ~ 60% in the concrete,and the problem of shortage of aggregate and the remaining of the large amount of steel slag in our country seriously hinders the implementing of sustainable development strategy of the environment.If steel slags were considered as fine aggregates applied to self-compacting concrete,it can not only solve the problem of the shortage of resources,but also can make excellent economic and environmental benefits.In this paper,the feasibility of compounding self-compacting concrete with steel slag instead of natural sand is studied,and the working ability and compressive strength of steel slag self-compacting concrete are worked out.In order to study the effect of different incorporation of steel slag SCC,the fillibility property and passing ability as well as anti-segregation and cubic compressive strength of steel slag SCC were studied by designed six different substitution rates(0,20%,40%,60%,80% and100%).The results show that: compared to the normal SCC,the steel slag self-compacted concrete(SCC)performance(anti-segregation)and compressive strength have been improved;With the increase of the replacement rate of steel slag in SCC,the filling property and passing ability of the mixture decrease,and the anti-segregation performance still is good.Considering the performance of steel slag self-compacted concrete,it is suggested that the best replacement rate of steel slag should be 20%,and the replacement ratio of steel slag should not be more than 60%.In addition,considering the influence of steel slag based on rheology,the rheological properties of steel slag self-compacting concrete are analyzed,and generally the inherent law of steel slag sand self-compacting concrete in the fresh mixing stage with the increase of the replacement rate of steel slag is studied.Combined with the related formula,the relationship between the rheology parameters and working performance of fresh steel slag compacting concrete are obtained,which provide more theoretical support and reference value for application of steel slag to self compacting concrete...
