Study On Cultural Activity Space Of Typical Groups In Urban Community

The Chinese urban development should not only focus on the reform and construction at the macro level,but should also pay more attention to the microscopic social life.As the most basic unit of urban space,urban community bears the real life experience of urban residents.The cultural activity space in urban community not only undertakes the daily cultural life of residents,but also plays an important role in promoting neighboring and cultivating community cultural identity.Therefore,the cultural activity space of urban community should consider the the real experience of the community residents,especially the urban vulnerable groups,and take into account the needs of different groups.This paper takes Shishan Community in Zhuhai City as the case of study,taking the interaction between three typical groups and their cultural activity space as the main line.Through summarizing large amout of literature and investigating,this paper research the characteristics,problems and optimization of community cultural activity space based on cultural needs of the typical groups.The paper can be divided into three parts:Firstly,the paper reviews the history of the cultural activity space in urban community,summarizing the characteristics of the cultural activity space,analyzing its importance for the urban community development.Meanwhile,it sums up the existing planning mechanism of community cultural activity space and reconnsiders its applicability based on the characteristics of the cultural activity space and the “people-oriented” development needs.Secondly,it introduces three elements of the cultural activity space in Shishan community : typical groups,activities contents,and activity space,and analysize the time-space characteristics of the daily cultural life,activities and the social relation network of the three typical groups who are elderly population,children and the fisherwomen as the representative of the migrant population;discussing the characteristics and differences of the impacts the community cultural activity space have on the three different groups in cultural service function,community communication and cultural identity,summarizing and analyzing the problems the cultural activity space have in the case community.At last,according to the research aboved,this paper proposes space optimization strategies for Shishan Community,putting forward the significance of the flexible standard guidance and the community participation in order to achieve the sustainable development of the human-oriented urban community cultural activity space.The research is based on the actual investigation of the specific community,and studies the cultural activity space of the typical groups in Shishan community,which has typical characteristics at the times,and puts forward some suggestions.It will provide reference for the construction of the community cultural activity space for both the old community and the new community,for the purpose of meeting people’s demand for culture,enhancing the community cultural identity and the sense of community attachment.
