As for the continuous development of large wind turbine technology, China needs to have the corresponding supporting test technology to improve the reliability of large wind turbine and shorten the research period. It is necessary to establish a set of relatively complete wind power transmission test rig for the wind power industry, which develops in China later than in Europe. The situation where no such kind of test rig has been established in China acts as a barrier to the master of basic technologies. This thesis has made a tentative study on related technologies of 10MW class wind turbine unit transmission chain test rig’s mechanical structure’s being supported by the dragged end.Concerning the small space where the cabin wind load simulation carries on, a single related variable experiment has been designed to research and analyze in order to study the mechanical influence of changes in the height of the cabin under the tower to important structural components within the nacelle base. As for the technical parameters of the 10MW wind turbine generator unit are few, related load pretreatment is the pre calculation of the wind conditions during the conducting of load calculation. The wind turbines are generally large offshore units, involving wind loads for turbulent flow, laminar flow and steady flow calculation. 10MW ultimate static load and Markov fatigue load web are to be calculated in GH Bladed software according to brake disc - Froude momentum theory after wind condition calculation.Because of the gap of the previous related domestic technology the structure of the end of the support drag (cabin support) and the technology both need to be studied. Using Hyperworks Optistruct kit for structural topology optimization, reference structure is obtained and geometry model is established. During the process of static analysis, the stiffness matrix is used for analyzing the model of material properties; Ansys Workbench 15.0 is made use of for mechanical analysis of general model and weld sub model; Ansys 15.0 Classic software is used for extraction of internal forces of weld seam and weld stress checking; Eurocode 3 together with IIW’s S/N curve of is used to correct the weld fatigue S/N curve based on Markov stress amplitude check structure fatigue.The German standard VDI22302003 bolted flange to check calculation is used because Germany imported bolts are used in the connection of test rig. During the flange check, "L" type flange failure theory in Petersen steel structure theory is made use of to revise the structure of "T" type flange and the failure check of flange.
