Application Of Design Patterns In Touchscreen Interface And Pattern Library

The booming development of Mobile Internet stimulates more requirements on mobile terminal product design in different industries.Inside each industry,there are intense competitive in every way.These demands ask the product to be well developed at the beginning,the design process to be optimized and follow the trend within the industry during the growth stage,explore and satisfy the needs at different level of users.In consideration of those demands,this project starts with design guidelines,takes design patterns as core principle.Under the direction of patterns,this project builds a prototype about product design:derivation from product purpose to user experience strategy to interface design mode.After the analysis upon Mobile Internet and research on more than 300 Applications,this project is able to extract and purify four design patterns and the relationships among them.This project also builds a design pattern library.The library contains three parts:navigation bar,content management and UI-patterns.It helps to get corresponding interactive strategic and design focus after analyzing the features of certain product.As for each pattern,the project picked some existing applications as sample,and explains each pattern by the way of 4W1H.Furthermore,all the patterns have been compared in different features,so that the difference will be more visualized.Finally,the method was applied to the design of an Engineering Graphics assisted-instruction software.This project combines the product design experience and thought.The project offers abundant,effective user interface design patterns,and helps to gain ideographic interface based on abstract proposal.This is not a simple design mode;it's an adaptable and open design methodology,which applies design thought to the whole design process and optimize the design process at the same time.This project also encourages and stimulates the changes and innovations to itself.
