This paper describes the possible fire hazard and the degree of harm,and expounds the characteristics of building fire. This paper introduces the development history of spray system, cites a number of classic cases of successful spray, introduces the principle of fire extinguishing system.At the same time, the research history and research status of building fire and spray system at home and abroad are summarized. This paper briefly introduces the actual project of this project for the dormitory building of Tsinghua University, and makes a simulation study to meet the needs of the construction party. According to the research situation and the needs of the project, the research content and the technical route of this paper are formulated. The use of simulation software FDS and the use of Pyrosim software and simulation principles are described in more detail.In addition, the theoretical basis of building fire simulation, fire zone and smoke prevention area and spray theory are summarizedAccording to the actual situation of the building layout of a university dormitory building underground two layer, and the modeling requirements of FDS software, the appropriate simplification is carried out. Through access to information and normative experience, each parameter in the FDS model are defined, and according to the advance plan, this paper set up 5 different working conditions, used Pyrosim to build the model of visual large space enclosed building, and import it into FDS.According to the output of FDS, using Origin and smokeview for data viewing and finishing, the changes of CO, temperature, HRR and smoke layer height in 5 different working conditions were analyzed and compared. It is concluded that the fire protection zone and the automatic sprinkler system should be arranged at the same time, And if only the building layout of fire sprinkler system without partition is not up to the fire control effect is ideal conclusion..Finally, according to the analysis results of FDS and above,combined with the actual situation of construction, this paper provides reasonable measures for building fire protection design: fire protection zone and automatic sprinkler system should be set up in the underground two floors; the division of fire area should be strictly in accordance with the provisions of the regulations, shall not be arbitrarily divided; the height of the ceiling should be appropriately increased, which is beneficial to the dilution of the smoke produced by the fire and to reduce the height of the smoke layer in the two layer of the underground. Lists the innovation points of this article: The underground two stories without windows and staircases closed are enclosed large space buildings, which are common in actual engineering, but there is no fire protection study;The reduction of single area in fire prevention area may not inhibit the development of fire in this area. This paper discusses the size of fire zone. According to the limitation and deficiency of this simulation,the numerical simulation of fire in enclosed large space building is prospected.
