The bearingless motor,combining rotary drive and the suspended functionin a body, has many advantages of no friction, high speed, no lubrication, which has a bright applications prospects. However, the permanent magnet type bearingless motor placed permanent magnets in the rotor, which has issues of heat dissipation and mechanical structure, and limited the motor performance to further enhance. This thesis investigates the bearingless double salient permanent magnet (BDSPM) motor,which combined with the advantages of bearingless technology and stator permanent magnet motor. Based on the analysis of the structure and working principle of the motor, the mathematical model of the radial levitation force is deduced. Based on the mathematical model,a simulation model of the rotation and radial displacement control system is established based on Matlab/Simulink. The BDSPM motor experiment platform is built based on DSP and the correctness of the simulation model of the mathematical model and the control system are verified by experiments.The main contents of this thesis are listed as follows:(1)The BDSPM motor structure is described. On the basis of introducing the principle of its rotation, combined with the principle of Maxwell force generation,the mechanism of radial suspension force is analyzed in detail.(2) The air gap permeability, inductance and magnetic energy expression of BDSPM motor are solved by virtual power method, and the radial levitation force is solved according to the magnetic energy expression, and its simplification is carried out. Based on Ansoft, the finite element simulation model of the motor is established.By compared the mathematical model and the simulation model, the effectiveness of the virtual force method is proved.(3) The relationship between the eccentric displacement of the rotor and the levitation force is solved by the finite element model, and the radial suspension force model is optimized. Based on Matlab/Simulink, the steady-state and dynamic simulation model of BDSPM motor rotation control system is established,and the simulation model of rotor radial displacement control system is established with the inverse system principle. The simulation results are in good agreement with each other, and the correctness of the control system model and theoretical analysis is proved.(4) The BDSPM motor prototype processing is completed, and a DSP-based motor control system experimental platform is built. The back EMF test, the rotation control and the static suspension experiment are carried out separately.
