Friction is a typical nonequilibrium inreversible process.Heat is generated in rough surface of the sliding friction process,the temperature change caused by heat conduction can make large thermal stress,thermal fatigue and affect the material's strength,hardness,and other properties.The friction surface of actual contact area is far less and discontinuous than the nominal contact area,causing the uneven distribution of temperature and uneven thermal deformation of the friction pair surface.In this paper,the thermal conduction of sliding friction is analyzed based on actual contact area.In this paper,entropy is used as the characterization of thermal conduction in friction,friction thermal conduction is described by the unified dimension.The meaning the entropy production in thermodvnamics is advanced,analyzing the entropy production based on the formula of the entropy productionIn this paper,the research object is based on the real contact area of the friction pair,entropy is used as the characterization of thermal conduction in friction,analyzing the impact of different parameters on the entropy.(1)To determine the the real contact area of analysis model of friction based on the actual contact surface roughness,profile peak height function and other parameters.(2)The analysis of the temperature field in friction process.Based on the friction model and the formula of changing temperature in the process of friction,analyzing the temperature field change regularity,analyzing temperature field under different sliding velocities,load,and friction coefficients.(3)The process of heat production by friction analyzed with finite element method.Transient thermal model was investigated using Workbench software,the performance parameters of the material,boundary conditions,the transient temperature field of the friction process is analyzed,and the temperature field is analyzed under different sliding velocities,load,and friction coefficients.(4)The analysis of entropy production.The formula of the entropy production is set up based on calculation formula of temperature field in the process of friction,the change regularity of entropy production of friction thermal conduction is got.The change of entropy production under different sliding velocities,load,and friction coefficients is analyzed.
