Early warning space-based infrared system plays an extremely important role in ballistic missile defense.The launch of the ballistic missile is detected and tracked by the satellites on the geosynchronous orbit and medium-low orbit.When the detecting distance is far,the target is a dot.In this paper,infrared imaging simulation is carried out on the active and middle parts of ballistic missile and the detecting capability of space-based infrared system is analyzed by using missile imaging signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).At the same time,the imaging trajectory characteristics of the missile target are analyzed.Then the imaging characteristics and the trajectory of the missile are simulated on the OSG platform.The main contents are as follows:The infrared radiation characteristics of the exhaust plume of the missile active section are studied,and the geometrical model of the exhaust plume of the active section is established.Based on the data of the exhaust plume radiation from the specific observation angle of 2.63~2.85?m and 4.21~4.45?m,considering the projection area of the exhaust plume at different angle of sight when the warhead is blocked,the radiation intensity of the missile is calculated in the double band at different angles and heights.In addition,based on the change of the temperature of the missile warhead,the radiation intensity of the warhead is calculated with the change of time and angle.Taking the typical cirrus background as the missile active section detection,the atmospheric transmittance at different angles at the height of 100 km are calculated.The dark background radiation brightness as the background of missile in the middle detection is calculate theoretically.The diffusion effect of the target on the optical system is modeled,and the detector integral response process is completed.At different detecting angle,flight height,detecting distance and optical system focal length,the simulation results of the missile target are analyzed by a large number of imaging simulation results.Then signal-to-noise ratio of the target is calculated,quality of the image and detecting capability of the system are analyzed.The transformation matrix of the missile launch coordinate system to the image plane coordinate system is established,and the motion trajectory of the missile in the emission coordinate system and the imaging trajectory in the image plane coordinate system are simulated.Based on the infrared imaging characteristics simulation results of the space-based warning system and the established Open Scene Graph platform,the real-time infrared imaging simulation of the missile target is carried out.The characteristics of the trajectory and the imaging characteristics are analyzed.
