With the rapid development of infrared technology, more and more countries are paying attention to the infrared imaging features of combat targets, especially the infrared imaging features of surface ships.Using space-based infrared detectors to observe ship targets in the ocean background and obtain infrared imaging data of ships can not only provide characteristic parameters for ship positioning and identification, but also provide theoretical basis for design and development of space-based detectors. It has scientific research value and broad application prospects in military and civilian fields. In this paper, the infrared imaging process of ship targets is based on the theory of full-link infrared radiation transmission, taking into account the effects of sea surface background radiation, atmospheric radiation transmission attenuation, and detector imaging effects on the infrared imaging of ship targets, using computer graphics rendering technology to achieve the infrared imaging simulation of the ship target under the space-based detection platform, analyzes the influence of different detector parameters and environmental disturbance on the infrared imaging characteristics of the ship target. The specific research work is as follows:(1)Infrared radiation modeling in a space-based infrared detection scene.Firstly, combined with the detection profile of the space-based infrared detection scene to illustrate the spatial positional relationship and infrared radiation relationship of each element;then, based on the simulation requirements of the space-based detection platform, the targeted geometric modeling of large-scale sea surface and ship;Based on the theory of full-link infrared radiation transmission, establish the self-radiation of the ocean background and the ship's target and the reflected radiation model to the external environment, and consider the attenuation of the target and background radiant energy by considering the atmospheric transmittance and atmospheric path thermal radiation, analyzes the photoelectric conversion process of the detector to the infrared radiation, completes the infrared radiation transmission model in the space-based infrared detection scene.(2)Infrared imaging simulation and analysis of surface ships.Based on the three-dimensional graphics rendering engine OSG,the space-based infrared detection platform for ship targets is built, and the infrared imaging simulation results of the surface ships are analyzed from the perspectives of image contrast and grayscale features.Firstly,in the case of clear cloudless weather, the ship target under different observation angles and field of view is simulated based on the detector parameters, and the infrared imaging characteristics are analyzed, and the influence of the detector parameters on the infrared imaging of the ship target is discussed.Secondly, targeting on the climatic conditions of typical sea areas and simulating ship targets in different seasons, analysis of the influence of seasonal factors on the infrared imaging of ship targets;then, considering the interference of sea surface bright bands on the imaging of ship targets, based on wind speed and detection angle for the ship target under the disturbance of the sea surface is simulated, and the influence of the bright sea surface on the infrared imaging of the ship target is analyzed. Finally, considering the interference of the cloud layer on the ship target, the ship target under the cloud cover is simulated, and the infrared imaging features are analyzed.Based on the infrared imaging features of the above-mentioned space-based infrared detection platform and ship target,it lays a foundation for the detection and identification of ship targets in space-based detection scenarios.
