City rail transit AFC system is an important part of rail transit passenger flow organization and management system, scientifically and reasonably allocating the rail transit automatic fare collection facilities is of great importance to regulate the passenger flow organization, improve the management level and service quality of the station operation, and to make full use of the equipment capacity. The existing subway stations, especially the large hub stations generally have complex passenger flow paths and large passenger flow volume.In addition, the stations involve a large number of different layout of the ticket facilities,whether the station service facilities match the passenger flow or not, the key problem cannot be solved if only considering the passenger flow organization. Therefore, in order to improve the service quality for passengers, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the automatic fare collection facilities from the point of the optimal allocation of service facilities.This paper firstly analyzes the characteristics of the rail transit stations and automatic ticket facilities, including the type of gate and conventional layout. Then the influence factors of automatic ticket facilities of the station, such as station facilities, the scale of mutual influence, the characteristics of passenger flow, passenger flow organization behavior,etc. are quantitatively analyzed. After that the peak hour passenger flow generated at the automatic ticket facility has been studied based on the queuing theory, a queuing system performance index is put forward as well, additionally the utilization ratio and queuing situation of Chengdu Metro Line 1 stations of each channel of the gate of different ticket machine configuration are investigated and analyzed.At the same time, this paper uses the four queuing system performance indexes of equilibrium, economy, comfort and efficiency to establish the comprehensive benefit maximization function , the function is solved by genetic algorithm. Finally the Luomashi station is picked up as a study case, combined with the genetic algorithm and simulation technology,this paper puts forward the optimal allocation scheme of the automatic ticket checking equipment, which provides the basis for the realization of the high efficiency and optimal operation of Chengdu rail transit stations.
