In the low-floor light rail vehicles, the use of flexible wheel light rail vehicles, with fast, comfortable, convenient, low noise, has become an important direction for the development of light rail vehicles, currently put into use low floor light rail vehicles are mostly flexible wheels. Accurate measurement of the wheel force, not only to assess the vehicle derailment safety indicators of the foundation, but also for further study of vehicle performance and solve the problem of wheel and rail surface damage and other theoretical basis. At present, the rigid wheel can be processed into force wheel pairs to carry out direct measurement of wheel and rail force, and the elastic wheel can not be processed into force wheel pairs, it can not directly measure the wheel force. For the light rail vehicle with the elastic wheel, the wheel speed force indirect measurement method is used to carry on the line dynamic test, and the operation safety of the vehicle is accurately evaluated, which has very important engineering significance.This paper studies the development of related technology of wheel and rail force measurement at home and abroad, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these methods and the feasibility of application. The system dynamics model is established for 70%low floor vehicle,and the wheel structure is considered as rigidity and elasticity,and the dynamic difference between the rigid and elastic structure wheel model is compared. By means of dynamic simulation method, the indirect measurement results of wheel and rail force are compared with the results of simulation output, and the error analysis is carried out to verify the feasibility of the indirect measurement method of wheel and rail force for low floor vehicle and derailment safety And the applicability of the combined derailment safety domain to the derailment safety assessment of low floor vehicle is demonstrated.
