Detection Method And Experimental Research On Commercial Vehicle Passive Safety

In the world, commercial vehicles play a more and more important role in economic development, and have become the main means of transport in our country. However, it is one of the main forms of traffic accidents. Due to the relatively larger size and body mass of commercial vehicles, once the traffic accident happened, a serious personal injury of traffic participants and damage to vehicles and road facilities are usually caused. At present, the number of casualties in traffic accidents caused by commercial vehicles ranked first and has replaced passenger car in our country. Therefore, how to improve the safety of commercial vehicles, reduce the damage caused by traffic accidents and maximize the safety of traffic participants in traffic accidents, which have important practical significance.In this paper, the commercial vehicle passive safety structure(Occupant protection structure & front/rear lower protection device) is researched firstly. Then the technical requirements for the passive safety of the commercial vehicle in the mainstream standard and regulation system in the world are interpreted, and the differences between Chinese standards and European regulations on commercial vehicle passive safety performance requirements and test methods of the structure are summarized. Finally, the test system for the detection and test of the passive safety structure of commercial vehicle is developed. Through the statistical analysis of the results of real vehicle test and product quality determination, the reasonable suggestions for improvement and optimization of the product safety performance and the revised standards and regulations are put forward.
