Study On The Funeral Building Of Minimalism

Funeral architecture across time,across life and death for the living and the deceased established a detachment space connection.Since ancient times,funeral architecture is an essential part of our city,ancient and modern emerged a lot of wellknown funeral architecture,the Ming Tombs,the pyramids,the Sun Yat-sen mausoleum,San Cataldo cemetery,Woodland cemetery,Igualada cemetery and so on are classic cases,these styles have their own characteristics of the funeral architecture reflects its cultural practices,architectural style and technical orientation,not only reveal the different point of view of the interpretation of the death,but also show the people how to thinking the life after death.Minimalist funeral architecture in a succinct form to objectively express the nature of funeral architecture,to build a calm and thoughtful space where arouse our depth memories and connecting life and death.Therefore,the author combined with minimalism,to study of minimalism in the funeral architecture of the applicability and application methods.The paper first defines the relevant concepts and backgrounds,and discussion on the contemporary development of funeral architecture inherited the origin and development of the traditional funeral culture at home and abroad.On this basis,the author analyzes four aspects functional of the contemporary funeral buildings which include funeral service,cremation,ashes and sacrifices,and four major connotation of the contemporary funeral buildings which include cultural,commemorative,symbolic and social enlightenment.To explore the different forms of funeral architectural ideas,and analyzes the ideological and cultural foundation of the minimalist funeral architecture in our country.Under the concept of funeral rituals,space,emotional experience,social morality can be reflected in the minimalist funeral architecture,The aesthetic concept and the concept of life and death under the influence of Zen thought have also become the formal basis of contemporary oriental minimalist funeral architecture.Then,from the perspective of contemporary minimalist thought,the author discusses the relationship between minimalism and contemporary funeral architecture.1.From the theory of contemporary architecture to explore the form of minimalist funeral construction rationality,such as minimalist form of the tendency to induce appropriate funeral function,architecture and human,death analogy;2.From the view of practice of cost and acceptance to discuss the feasibility of minimalist funeral architecture.Finally,analyzes the design of the minimalist funeral architecture and the designer’s ideas,and draws up the minimalist funeral architectural design strategy from the aspects of environmental shaping,physical space,skin material,flying white and light and shadow.Finally,Introduction of the use of minimalist participation in the design of Chongqing Yubei district funeral home renovation and expansion project.This paper studies the funeral architecture combined with the funeral culture and minimalist theory,explores the applicability and application of minimalism in the design of funeral architecture,enriches the relative lack of funeral architecture design theory.It is of great significance to solve the problems in the development of the modern funeral and to improve the relationship between the funeral architecture and the users and the surrounding urban areas.At the same time hope in the face of the theme of death,triggering more architectural aspects of thinking.
