The malfunctions in automobile braking system is a main reason leads to traffic accident,which also have directly influence on safety and reliability in vehicles.The breakdown mainienance efficiency in breaking system also has immediate effect on after-sale quality.With the acceleration of Economic globalixation movernent and vigorously support of our nation,auto-sale for indcpendent brand is inereased in a ladder form.How to optimize and improve automobile breaking performance,as well as improve after-sale maintenance efficiency in automobile braking system are critical issues that manufacturers are concerned.Therefore,this paper studied and analyzed automobile bfaking system in a point of application view combining with IE and methods,which has signififantly influence on improving independent automobile market competitiveness.This article takes FAW-Bacsturn B50 as a study object,and investigates on one of the cases for after-sales services at 4s shop.Firstly,by through studying on the three-year’ vehicle maintenance records from customer information system,and by combining with basic automobile brake system theory,the major failure modes and causes of the automobilc braking system are determined.Secondly.associated with current subjcctive evaluation institution and the facts,this research proposes six evaluation indexes and uses AHP to establish subjective evaluation model for this automobile braking performance.Furthermore,this research also figures out weight sequence of the car’s six breaking performance evaluation index.Finally,the research uses the FTA to establ.ish the FTA model for brake failure faults,with qualitative and quantitative analysis,defining the importance degree of ordering this breaking system’s main failure factors.Comprehensive analysis showed that the failure of the brake components part accounted for 29.9%and the brake fluid transmission system accounted for 40.2%of the propeortion of poor,which are two main reasons for the failure in braking system.The car manufacturers should focus on optimizing this part of the performance.Also in after-sales maintenance,the manufactures should focus on troubleshooting in these two parts,which will greatly improve the efficiency of maintenance.
