With the rapid development of social economy,the problem of huge energy consumption in construction industry has aroused widespread concern,zero energy consumption residence is a residential building which is zero in non-renewable energy consumption and can maximize the use of renewable energy.It greatly reduce the energy consumption of buildings and has great theoretical significance and practical engineering application value for China’s building energy-saving development.In this paper,the zero energy consumption residence in hot summer and cold winter area is taken as the research object.Through the system analysis the research focuses on the energy saving technology of the outer envelope and makes a clear provision to the measurement time,energy type,balance type and other elements in the definition of zero energy consumption building.In order to understand the thermal performance of the exterior envelope in zero energy consumption residence,conducted a field study on the Nanjing Feng Shang International Apartment,compare its external walls,windows,rooftectonics and thermal performance with zero-energy residence typical structural components of the outer structure,and through the consumption analysis,Nanjing Feng Shang International Apartment can only achieve zero energy building standards in the cooling area,but not in the heat area for meeting the comfort requirements,and put forward three recommendations for energy saving improvement:(1)Increase the insulation layer thickness of exterior wall and reduce its heat transfer coefficient;(2)Change windows’ type,select the lower heat transfer coefficient windows and control the window to the wall ratio in all orientations;(3)Increase the insulation layer thickness of roof and reduce its heat transfer coefficient.In order to further study the suitable type of outer envelope structure of zero energy consumption residence in hot summer and cold winter area,establish the basic model of research and analyze the internal factors influencing energy consumption of the basic model.Then established the heat transfer coefficient limit of exterior wall and roof,the properwindows type and the best window to the wall ratio in all orientations in zero energy consumption residence design.And propose a optimization program for the Nanjing Feng Shang International Apartment.Using the DeST-h simulation software to analyze the energy consumption of the optimized scheme,compared with the original scheme,it is concluded that the Nanjing Feng Shang International Apartment can meet the standard of zero energy consumption residence.This paper analyzes the applicability of the optimization scheme in different cities by selecting the typical cities in hot summer and cold winter area and draws a conclusion that the guilding design principle of the outer envelope of the zero energy consumption residence in Nanjing also applies to other cities in hot summer and cold winter area.In summary,the guilding design principle of the outer envelope of the zero energy consumption residence in hot summer and cold winter area can provide a reference for the energy-saving design of the zero energy residence in this area and play a role in the development of zero energy consumption residence in China.
