With the increasingly serious environmental problems and the potential energy crisis,electric vehicles have become the hotspot in the automotive industry, but the driving comfort(dynamic performance) of pure electric vehicles and the mileage of vehicle energy are restricting the further development of electric vehicles. In response to this problem, the optimization of the methods of electric vehicle driving and energy recovery is currently adopted to improve.In this paper, the methods of electric vehicle driving and energy recovery of permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) is optimized for the study .Firstly, The traditional methods of electric vehicle driving and energy recovery is studied and found that there is a shortcoming in combination with the driving intention of the driver and the driving road condition of the electric vehicle .Then, the methods of electric vehicle driving and energy recovery are optimized by combining with the traditional methods, the driving intention and the driving road condition of the electric vehicle. In terms of the driving, according to the different driving force required for the running state of the electric vehicle, the driving mode is divided into "power mode, normal mode and economic mode for optimizing the driving force, which improve the dynamic performance and vehicle energy utilization of electric vehicles ;In terms of energy recovery, energy recovery is increased in the case of downhill non-braking operations, which can increase the energy recovery of electric vehicles. After the determination of the research method, the hardware circuit of the electric vehicle, suitable for the research method, is designed and manufactured; High precision angle sensor (90° angle inclination change corresponds to 0?1V or more,90° angle inclination change corresponds to 0?1V or below for the ordinary inclination sensor) was fabricated by using piezoelectric film to monitor of the running conditions of electric vehicle in real time.Finally, the corresponding program is designed and the experiment is verified by the method based on the driving and energy recovery .The 400W permanent magnet synchronous motor (model 60BL (30) B40-30),produced by Zhuhai Shipping Company,is used in the experiment and is limited the maximum speed of PMSM to 800r / min .The result is found that the method of research can improve about 1% of the dynamic performance and save about 0.7%of the energy in the whole process by simulating the operation on a section of 4000m.In terms of energy recovery, recovery of downhill energy is intelligently implemented, which recycle more energy than traditional methods. Therefore, the driving comfort of electric vehicles and the mileage of vehicle energy is improved effectively by the optimization method of this paper that embrace a certain propulsion for the further development of electric vehicles.
