Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based Integrated Electric Drive System For New Energy Vehicle

With rapid development of economics,more and more attention has been paid to environment protection.Especially air pollution,has started to thread health of human beings.Solution on how to tackle pollution is being discussed worldwide.Within so many reasons that causes air pollution,vehicle emission is thought to be major contributor.Due to this,electric vehicle engineering,which covers many other majors and technologies,becomes very hot not only within China,but worldwide as well.Combining and targeting the latest trend of technology development,main research area and topics of this paper includes development of new energy vehicle within China and abroad,characteristic of Electric Drive System(EDS)for new energy and principal and control method of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM).With all needed knowledge and technology,a lot of development and verification work are introduced later.In the end,a complete control algorithm is developed which could be applied to actual research and development of electric drive system for new energy vehicle.Within the paper,architecture of new energy vehicle and requirement/specification for Electric Drive System is first introduced.Besides,detailed principal and characteristic of PMSM and its vector control algorithm/control method(i_d=0 control) are explained as well.This system using the latest AURIX series of DSP TC277 as its core micro controller.With all HW&SW development and knowledge above,a complete Electric Drive System is designed and developed and realized.Last part of the paper introduces test result/status of the Electric Drive System.EDS test bench is introduced first and test method and test result are analyzed later.Mass of actual test data and result proves very good feasibility and reliability of both HW and SW development for this application.All test data,knowledge and experience accumulated lays a very solid foundation for further investigation and research on electric drive system used to new energy vehicle.
