As the size of the city continues to expand and the application of power cable in the power supplies is getting increased and the reliability of the supplied power is becoming more and more important for power providers and consumers.Existing power cable lines are maintained through periodic overhaul and post-accident detection,which increases the duration of the cable failure,consuming a lot of manpower to find the point of failure,reducing the efficiency of cable maintenance.This paper presents a real-time fault monitoring technology based on wireless communication technology,which can effectively improve the processing speed of cable fault.In this paper,the on-line monitoring method of partial discharge of high voltage cable accessories is systematically studied,and a complete on-line monitoring system is established.First,the model of the partial discharge of the cable accessory is established,and the operation of the cable is monitored by extracting the UHF signal to the accessory.On this basis,a wireless transmission system for UHF signal detection is designed,which realizes the timely and effective transmission of fault signals and introduces the propagation characteristics of UHF signals in cable lines.Secondly,the system for the hardware modular design,making the overall structure clear,Mainly including: data acquisition circuit,the main control circuit,GPRS module circuit,power supply circuit.In the process of data transmission using underground cable transmission,ground wireless transmission with each other to solve the wireless signal in the underground transmission difficult problem.Finally,this paper analyzes the fault signal when the cable is defective,and introduces the basic method of fault diagnosis.In addition,after the system hardware and software debugging,confirmed the effectiveness of the system.
