Dynamic compaction is widely applied in ground treatment projects for its environmental, economic and simple operation. With the rapid development of China economic, most investments and infra-structure projects need more and more land for construction and occupation. In the condition of shortage supply of good land, the government or investor have to develop “bad” land like riverway, rockhill, soil hill or rubbish backfilled ground,in all these projects, dynamic compaction can be used as a referred ground treatment method. However because of the complex of DC theory and composition of backfill materials, relevant research on DC is not systemic and clear,in addition the poor control in some site construction also limited the application of DC and reinforcement effect;the DC quality testing and evaluating method should be improved. This dissertation introduces and summaries the domestic development of research on dynamic compaction in recent years.Through analysis and demonstration from technic and economic aspects, pointing out dynamic compaction is suitable and advantage to deep backfill ground treatment;Combining with the Daimler GZ warehouse project in Guangzhou Conghua area, this paper have an overall study and review on design, construction and testing of deep dynamic compaction of backfilled ground treatment.Introduces and summaries the domestic development of research on deep-backfilled ground treatment by dynamic compaction,Analysis dynamic compaction is suitable and advantage to deep backfill ground treatment;Integrate theory with practice, introduce the design, construction and testing of DC detail,Based on the dynamic simulation of backfill soil foundation, some conclusions are obtained..
