| Nowadays,split-type air-conditioners used in residential buildings often have the outdoor condensing units installed in grooves,which would lead to building elevation against condenser efficiency.This problem was focused all the time.Indeed,four aspects of this paper had been carried out based on the placement of condensing unit in groove:First of all,the object and methold of this research were confirmed: experimental study on the performance of condensing unit in groove according to temperature field and flow field,which was due to the investigation of placing condensing unit at residential building,the sizes of different kinds of condensing unit in China top 20 brands by sales,and related research that had been done.Secondly,the change rules of the air inlet temperature and hot air recirculation ratio of condensing unit were discussed by changing the distance from outdoor unit to each side of groove and the angle of louver,in order to confirm the most important factor that effected air-conditioner performance.Then,optimum ideas was confirmed from the change rules of flow filed around the condensing unit in groove by changing one of important factor,which was determined by temperature filed experiment.Finally,three different kinds of optimum grooves had been designed according to the optimum ideas which were got from flow filed experiment.The most optimum groove program was confirmed by comparing three different optimum grooves for air-conditioner performance.The conclusion from temperature filed experiment could be listed as follow: the most important factor that effected air-conditioner performance were the wide and height of groove because air inlet temperature and hot air recirculation ratio changed obviously when reducing the distance from outdoor unit to left sidećright side or upside of groove.The conclusion from flow filed experiment could be listed as follow: besides changing prior wide or height of groove,improving traditional groove form should also be considered in optimum design because there is little work on changing flow filed around outdoor unit when just changing the wide of groove.The conclusion from optimum program experiment could be listed as follow: it worked obviously on improving air-conditioner performance when adding planks into groove.Among the three optimum grooves,the first optimum groove made the most effect on improving air-conditioner performance,that adding planks on both sides of outdoor unit to separate hot air and cold air,and adding planks on the upside of outdoor unit to prevent hot air recirculation. |
