High performance lithium batteries are in great demands for consumer electronics,electric vehicles and grid scale stationary energy storage.It has been reported that layered transition metal sulfides exhibited much better cycling performance than other metal sulfides that are not based on the layered structure.Layered MoS2 and ZrS2 are structurally similar to graphite,which are considered as the first choice for next-generation lithium-ion battery electrode materials.In this work,ZrS2,MoS2/ZrS2 and LiFePO4/C have been synthesized via several different methods,the physical and electrochemical properties of the synthesized samples were characterized and tested by XRD,SEM,CV,EIS,EDS,and charge-discharge measurement,and the effect of structures and morphology on electrochemical properties have been analyzed.As-prepared ZrS2 and MoS2/ZrS2 composites showed a excellent cycling performance and rate capability in the cut-off voltage 0.01-3.0 V.
