Partially prefabricated steel reinforced concrete member, which is an innovative composite member and abbreviated as PPSRC member here,is presented in this thesis. In the PPSRC member, the outer-shell is firstly prefabricated and cured in factory, and the inner-part is poured on construction site. The PPSRC member combines the advantages of prefabricated structure and steel reinforced concrete structure, and leads the new direction of the development of modern prefabricated structure and steel reinforced concrete structure. This paper focuses on the shear strength of the PPSRC member through the experimental study and theoretical analysis.Static loading experiments of 9 PPSRC members were carried out to capture the failure modes,load-displacement curves,load-strain curves and ductility ratios of the specimens. The effects of shear span ratio, concrete strengths of the outer-shell and inner-part,and section form(hollow form and solid form)on shear performance were critically analyzed. The test results indicated that the shear capacities of the PPSRC specimens decreased proportionally to increases of the aspect ratio, and increased proportionally to increases of the compressive strengths of concrete in the outer-shell and inner-part.Meanwhile,the hollow specimens and solid specimens exhibited similar mechanical behaviors and bearing capacities during the test, which indicated that section form seldom affected the shear capacities.Theory calculating methods of the truss-arch model and simplified modified compression field model are proposed in this thesis. The theory calculating methods combine the two shear theories of reinforced concrete and the contribution of structural steel. The calculating results agree well with the experimental results.Statistical analyzing formulas which are convenient for practice in designing are also proposed here.Compared the three calculating formulas from this thesis with the calculating results from three current specifications, the statistical analyzing formulas proposed in this thesis is more accurate in predicting the shear strengths of the specimens, and the calculating results from the three current specifications are more conservative.
