Partial prefabricated steel reinforced concrete beam(abbreviated as PPSRC beam)is a new kind of steel reinforced concrete(always abbreviated as SRC)composite beams, and is composed of factory prefabricated concrete part and cast-in-place concrete part.It can effectively improve the prefabricated proportion of steel reinforced concrete structure, speed up the construction progress, reduce or avoid the use of temporary support and formworks. It has many advantages such as design flexibility, simple construction, little environmental pollution, high construction quality and low comprehensive cost, corresponds to China's green sustainable development path.In this paper, the failure pattern?shear capacity were fully studied, with a series of static tests of 8 PPSRC specimens. And furthermore, based on the results, design calculation method and simplified calculation formula of PPSRC hollow beam was founded and presented.Static experimental studies on 8 T-shape PPSRC specimens under monotonic concentrated load were conducted to focuse on the study of the impact of different shear span-depth ratio on shear performance, and the shear performance differences of hollow and solid section beams.During the description of the results, the strain, crack patterns, failure characteristics, bearing capacity and deformation of each specimen were analyzed and studied in detail. The experimental results show that the PPSRC hollow beams have good shear performance and the cooperative performance is good, because no visible slippages on the interfaces between steel and concrete,or the precast concrete and castin-place concrete were observed. The shear model was established based on the modified compression-field theory(MCFT)and truss-arch theory, and a simplified formula was proposed. The results show that truss-arch theory can be used to calculate the shear capacity of PPSRC beams. With the result of experimental studies, based on the existing rules and related theoretical formulas,a practical simplified formula for calculating the shear capacity of partially prefabricated steel reinforced concrete hollow beams is proposed. In addition, the calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental results. All the above research can provide useful reference for the further research and practical application of partial prefabricated steel reinforced concrete hollow beams.
