Reinforced concrete frame structure after a big earthquake action will produce a certain size of residual deformation,plastic deformation is unrecoverable.The size of the residual deformation can be used to reflect the degree of structural damage,after an earthquake,we can reference the size of the residual deformation to see if structure can be repaired or not.The greater residual deformation,the greater the difficulty to repair the damaged structure,and also will spend more money.When residual deformation is more than a certain date,it is meaningless to repair the damaged structure,we should demolish the structure and rebuild it.It is very important to accurate analysis the residual deformation of structure after an earthquake,it has great significance to evaluate a structure performance after an earthquake.In this paper,from the angle of the residual deformation to study the extent of damage of reinforced concrete frame structure,when earthquake happen again,we will analyze the residual deformation is how impact structural seismic performance.Use software of OpenSees to establish reinforced concrete frame structure model.Selected the three seismic waves to calculate,the primary frame model 1 will suffer once seismic waves,the frame model 2 which has residual deformation is on the basis of the primary frame will suffer again the same intensity of seismic waves.Model 1 and model 2 is analyzed in different intensity of ground motion under the action of dynamic response.Studied the residual interlayer displacement angle,maximum interlayer displacement angle and floor displacement.Interlayer deformation and residual deformation increased with the increase of the seismic peak acceleration.Analysis shows that the larger the seismic peak acceleration the greater the residual deformation and earthquake action,the greater the influence on seismic performance of structure.The greater of the ground motion intensity the maximum interlayer displacement angle of structure,the greater the residual displacement angle between the layers.When the structure of the earthquake residual interlayer displacement angle is less than 0.5%,the maximum residual deformation has little influence on future seismic performance,the risk of structural damage will not increase.When the residual interlayer displacement angle after structure suffer earthquake is greater than 0.5%,we must consider the residual deformation is how influence future seismic performance of structure,the deformation between two layer has increased by more than 10%.When the maximum residual displacement between floors of the structure angle increases to more than 1.0%,the residual deformation of structure seismic performance has a great influence,the deformation between two layer has increased by more than 50%,the structure has no meaning to be repaired,we should demolish it and rebuild it.The conclusion of this article has important reference meaning,after a reinforced concrete frame structure suffer earthquake,we can evaluate the damage of structure and consider it can be repaired or not.
