The new generation of aerospace electronics require to increase performance network communication drastically.Due to the limit of data rate,the legacy centralized-control communication(MIL-STD-1553B)becomes the bottleneck of performance.Fiber communication technology based FC-AE-1553 bus,with significant performance gain in compatibility,speed and reliability,has become one of the substitution of MIL-STD-1553 B.Due to high performance requirement(simulation nodes performance,real-time performance and portability)of one semi-physical simulation system developed by HITATCI,we need to flexible simulation models to fulfill the requirement of test protocol,performance test,fault-insertion test,etc,which makes high-data-rate featured FC-AE-1553 favorable.Research and develop flexible,portable,dynamic-loadable FC-AE-1553-based system has significant impact.Based on the requirement of some semi-physical simulation,the thesis proposed a design of FC-AE-1553(PCI bus)with dynamic-load simulation model.The design feature is that,the simulation model runs real-time on system,meanwhile simulation is dynamically loaded.The performance gain of data rate and real time against MIL-STD-1553 B is significant.Due to Fiber 1553 protocol’s complexity and high data rate,it is hard to implement with standalone hardware.We propose a DSP+FPGA collaboration system to implement FC-AE-1553 protocol.FC-4 layer-mapped 1553 protocol,which requires high flexibility,is implemented by DSP software system;while FC-1 and FC-2 layer,which requires high real-time performance,is implemented by FPGA;FC-0 layer is implemented by deserializing module and fiber converter.Our proposed design resolves the complexity of protocol,and achieves the requirement of high data rate.The thesis develops a dynamic-loadable simulation software package,which implement the dynamic-loadable feature via DSP master loading mode.Simulation board could be loaded online,and simulation models could be changed dynamically.Loading online increases the flexibility of the simulation board.The PCI program driver is developed via VISA Integrated Development Environment.We programmed specific driver APIs for user to initialize system,set working mode,operate protocol functions,load simulation model online,reset system and close system,which makes it convenient for further development.Finally we tested the simulation model online-loadable FC-AE-1553 card.The test result shows that the simulation board is well-designed.The board system runs smoothly,and fulfills the design and functional requirement.
