The development of renewable energy has become a hot topic in this world.Gasification of biomass fuel is an efficient way that provides a competitive means for producing chemicals and energy from renewable energy sources. We have created a pilot test system for biomass gasification, which heated by custom thermal, the experimental study of the cyclone gasification of rice husk has been carried out.According to the results of cyclone gasification test, the idea of enhancing reaction zone cyclone gasification has been proposed, the efficient technologies and devices for enhancing reaction zone cyclone gasification have been established. In order to obtain a better vaporization effec, the optimal value of the gasification intensity and air equivalence ratio of cyclone gasifier have been obtained.Cyclone gasification pilot test system of biomass include the cyclone gasifier reactor, air supply system, feeding system, gas purification system and the sampling system.Ignition process and gasification process for cyclone gasifier have been commissioned.when the feeding amount 8.76kg/h and air volume 20Nm3/h,the furnace temperature increased quickly.During gasification, there was a stable temperature value and gas component.Cyclone gasifier can operated continuously and stablely. The gasification effect of the cyclone gasifier have been carried out,the influence of the gasification intensity and air equivalence ratio on the cyclone gasification of rice husk were investigated in detail.Cyclone gasifier can be operated at the feeding amount within the range of 18.16kg/h-43.96kg/h.The optimal value of the gasification intensity is 885.24kg/(m2h).With ER increased from0.23 to 0.32,the temperature of the gasifier increased, the LHV of the produced gas increase under ER= 0.26 then decreases, the maximum LHVwas 4.25 MJ/Nm3 at ER=0.26;Tar content decreased from 6.84 g/Nm3 to 4.96 g/Nm3;Carbon conversion rate increased from 47.2% to 62.3%;Gasification efficiency between 29.9% and 37%.The results show that the LHV,gasification efficiency and carbon conversion rate have not achieved the desired value and should to be improved. Therefore,it is necessary for improving the effect of gasification to enhance reaction zone during the cyclone gasification,a enhancing reaction zone cyclone gasification test systems have been established. The influence of the gasification intensity and air equivalence ratio on the cyclone gasification of rice husk were investigated in detail. With the gasification intensity increase from 434.14kg/(m2h)to 1050.68kg/(m2h),gasifier temperature, gas calorific value, carbon conversion and air-conditioning efficiency increases firstly and then decreases. With the air equivalence ratio increase from 0.23 to 0.32,gasifier temperature increased. The LHV of the produced gas increase, when ER is less than 0.26,then decreased, the maximum value is 5.37MJ/Nm3 at ER=0.26.Tar content in the produce gas reduced from 7.24g/Nm3 to 5.04g/Nm3.Carbon conversion rate increased from 51.6% to 71.9%.Gas production rate increased from 0.98 Nm3/kg to 1.38Nm3/kg.Gasification efficiency was between 36.1%~49.7%.The optimal value of air equivalence ratio was 0.26.Compared to the cyclone gasification, the enhancing reaction zone cyclone gasification technology is more advantage, comparing to the cyclone gasification gas calorific value of the gas production rate, air conditioning efficiency and carbon conversion rate increased by 26.4%,7%,12.7% and 11.5%.
