M50 is bearing steel with excellent comprehnsive performance on the grinding of tin bronze have low temperature toughness,high strength and good wear resistance.In recent years,due to the harsh working environment,especially in the field of aerospace often appear high temperature,high speed,heavy load and high frequency vibration,resulting in "soft grinding" abnormal wear phenomenon.For this problem,this article based on the principle of surface engineering,the surface modification of M50 steel and tin and bronze was carried out,The friction and wear tests of M50 and tin bronze were carried out under the simulated operating conditions.Study the friction and wear mechanism,then the protective capability of Surface modification is analysied during the friction and wear.Firstly,the abrasion test of M50 and grinding bronze was carried out under the condition of simulated actual working conditions.The abnormal wear of "soft grinding and hardening" was analyzed from the aspects of abrasive morphology,phase structure,microhardness and wear rate.Provide data support for further resolution of this problem.Then,the M50 steel was implanted with nitrogen plasma,and under different conditions of simulated actual working conditions,the grinding experiments of M50 and tin bronze were carried out at different times.Microhardness and wear rate.The results show that the wear surface of the M50 steel and the grinding surface of the grinding bronze is only slightly abrasive and a small amount of stripping pits,and the amount of film and the wear rate Are significantly reduced,indicating that after plasma-based ion implantation treatment,the wear resistance of friction parts significantly improved.Finally,the surface of tin bronze was coated with silver plating and multi-arc Cr N coating.The friction and wear tests of M50 and Ag plating and Cr N tin bronze were carried out under different load and time.The results show that after plating Silver layer of tin bronze in the actual working conditions to show excellent wear resistance,with the time and the load increases,wear marks still only a slight wear marks,did not find the emergence of transfer film and wear rate only have 10-11·m3/N·m.In contrast,the friction and wear of tin bronze coated with Cr N coating is larger,and the furrow appears on the surface of the abrasive,and the amount of transfer film is increased greatly.
