Sliding bearing of diesel connecting rod small end is an important bearing used to protect connecting rod small end and piston pin.The working environment is extremely bad,and its wear degree has a serious impact on the service life of diesel.Therefore,it is very important to study the friction and wear characteristics of sliding bearing material.In this paper,the friction and wear characteristics of tin bronze sliding bearing material after strong spinning process are studied by using pin-disk simulation test,taking the small-end plain bearing of connecting rod of a diesel engine as an example.The specific contents of the study are as follows:The single factor test was designed and the pin-disk friction and wear test of the material of strong spinning tin bronze sliding bearing was carried out on the MG-2000 high-speed and high-temperature friction and wear tester.The effects of rotating speed,load and temperature on the friction and wear characteristics were analyzed,and the friction and wear mechanism was discussed.The results show that the main forms of friction and wear on the surface of the material also change under different working conditions,and the transformation of friction and wear forms is mainly reflected in the change of friction coefficient and wear amount in macroscopical view.At the micro level,it is mainly reflected in the change of surface morphology and wear surface elements.According to the experimental results of single factor,the friction coefficient first decreases and then increases with the increase of rotational speed.And it decreases with the increase of load,but increases when the load is too large.And it decreases with the increase of temperature,but increases sharply when the temperature is too high.The wear amount conforms to the Archard wear law,and the wear amount increases with the increase of speed and load,and first decreases and then increases with the increase of temperature.By designing the response surface test,the cubic quadratic regression equation of friction coefficient and wear amount of strong spinning tin bronze plain bearing material is obtained,and the regression equation is analyzed by ANOVA variance.The influence sequence of friction coefficient and wear amount on the friction coefficient and wear amount of strong spinning tin bronze sliding bearing material is analyzed,and the optimization of working condition factors is carried out by analyzing the influence of three working conditions and their interaction on the friction coefficient and wear amount of the strong spinning tin bronze sliding bearing.The results show that the order of the influence of working conditions on friction coefficient of strong spinning tin bronze sliding bearing material is: rotational speed,load,temperature,and the interaction between rotating speed,and that load has a significant effect on friction coefficient.The order of the influence of working conditions on the wear amount of strong spinning tin bronze sliding bearing material is: load,rotational speed,temperature,and the interaction of rotational speed and temperature has a significant effect on the wear amount.The results of response surface optimization show that when the rotating speed is 126 r / min,the load is 109 N and the temperature is 102 ?,the friction coefficient and wear amount of the strong spinning tin bronze bearing can be smaller.
