Study On The Characteristics Of Fatigue Of Aviation Maintenance

With the increasing work pressures faced by the maintenance personnel,the fatigue that exposes to the crew becomes severer,which will influence the safety and reduce work efficiency.So we should study the fatigue of aircraft maintenance personnel.First of all,based on the basic theory of fatigue,combined with characteristics of maintenance tasks,we give the definition of the fatigue of the maintenance personnel,systematically elaborate the mechanism of the fatigue of the maintenance and do a detailed analysis and study on performance and influencing factors of fatigue.After that based on the previous section,the method of subjective assessment is used to study the maintenance personnel fatigue state and factors.The Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory-16(MFI-16)is designed by analyzing and debugging the fatigue scale.Combined with other evaluation tools,we do a questionnaire survey to the maintenance unit maintenance.SPSS19.0 software is used to analyze the data.Survey conclusions,1,the overall fatigue state of the crew is acceptable,but compared with our ordinary men,the sleep quality of crew is poor,and sleep quality is an important factor affecting the fatigue,moreover,some negative life events have a significant positive correlation with fatigue.2,fatigue was positively correlated with neuroticism in personality traits,while negatively correlated with extroversion,fitness,openness and rigidity,fatigue and physical and mental health have a significantly positive correlation.3,the education level,the family economy,shift mode,night shift duty,maintenance load,maintenance environment,temperature,noise,bad weather have different degrees of significant correlation with fatigue.Those who have a higher level of education as well as poor family economic situation should be of concern.The fatigue of those who need to work on shift should be paid sustained attention,and we also should pay attention to reduce the maintenance load and improve the maintenance environment.Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the predictive effects of demographic variables and personal habits variables,personality traits,physical and mental health status and sleep quality on the total score of fatigue.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that: rigidity,total sleep quality score,daytime dysfunction,neuroticism and other four variables can pretest the scales of MFI-16.Finally,according to the key factors of fatigue,the corresponding fatigue mitigation measures are put forward,so as to reduce the risk of fatigue of the maintenance personnel.
