With the rapid development of the solar photovoltaic and hybrid energy of distributed generation,distributed generation energy storage device has been widely used.And monitoring the distributed generation energy storage device is an urgent problem to be solved.It is necessary to develop a monitoring system for storage battery materials,and it will have great space for development.With the development of new energy storage battery materials,lithium-ion batteries is widely used as energy storage power for its high energy and stable electrochemical performance,large output current,etc.However,lithium batteries pack connected in series in the using process exist some problems,such as that the balance issues,overcharge and discharge problems and high temperature will affect the life and performance of lithium batteries,when the problem gets serious,the battery pack will combust or explode.Thus,the battery management system(Battery Management System,BMS)is necessary to protect lithium batteries to achieve overcharge protection,over-discharge protection,short circuit protection,over temperature protection,and the remaining charge SOC(State Of Charge)estimation function.In order to solve these problems,the distributed generation energy storage battery monitoring system is investigated and developed.The design of monitoring system is set up by a number of functional modules.The main works of this paper are as the following:(1)The battery cell/multi-body voltage measurement is completed,the current of the battery pack is measured with Shunt current shunt;(2)By measuring the value of battery voltage and current,the battery capacity is monitored by estimating the battery's SOC to provide important battery parameters and do some monitoring function for the entire monitoring system.(3)Battery charging/discharging protection monitoring function is performed by the battery voltage of the battery and the battery pack voltage;(4)The information is transmitted through the RS485 serial communication and the WIFI function was also applied.The energy state is monitored by APP client,and the measurement corresponding was controlled.The Freescale MK64 series microcontroller is selected as the main controller,and the hardware circuit design,PCB drawing is finished.Then software is written by using C language in the IAR development environment.Finally,the hardware and software for the control module is debugged.The information,such as the varying condition,fault diagnosis of the accepted data of the system are monitored by the test platform,and the reliability of the whole system is verified.
