The tower crane is the most important transportation machine in the construction industry.Nowadays,as the height and density of buildings increase,the tower crane is getting more and more busier.The high intensity of operation causes the tower crane to be damaged by fatigue failure of steel structural.In order to standardize the use of construction machinery and prevent the occurrence of major accidents,the safety monitoring system has been widely used throughout the country in recent years.This paper studies the operation rules and working conditions of tower crane by analyzing the large number of runing data of a tower crane recorded in the safety monitoring system.So this paper puts forward the method to bulid the fatigue load spectrum of tower crane based on the work cycle as the research unit.This method can not only calculate the fatigue life of the tower crane by using ANSYS analysis software and MATLAB simulation software,but also provide the suggestion for the optimization design of the tower crane.With the widely application of the internet of things technology,this method can also be used to improve the safety monitoring system for real-time analysis and tracking of the fatigue residual life of tower crane.Provide effective guidance for the maintenance of the tower crane.This paper is studied on a certain TC5610 tower crane.The specific research work mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Study the fatigue failure principle of steel structure.According to the working data,the fatigue type of the tower crane is analyzed and the appropriate fatigue life estimation method is adopted.The fatigue performance parameters of the tower crane mechine parts are studied through relevant data.(2)Study the theory and software of finite element method.Take advantage of ANSYS to bulid a finite element of the tower crane.Determine the dangerous condition through lift performance of tower crane,and static analysis is carried out to verify the correctness of the finite element.(3)Analysis of running data obtained through security monitoring system,and understand the working rules of the tower crane.A work cycle includes unload-liftingmoving-falling-unload and selecting different load combinations for each stage.Finally,the simplified processing of the load combination.(4)A new method for building load spectrum is proposed,which takes a work cycle as the research unit.This paper is inspired by the finite element theory,and the load spectum is viewed as a finite number of unit load spectral combinations.Then,refer to ANSYS result to establish the curve family of unit load spectrum.Finally,the load spectrum is obtained by connecting each unit load spectrum.(5)Simulating the process of calculating the fatigue life of tower crane in MATLAB software,and obtain the fatigue life value of the TC5610 tower crane.By results of the fatigue reliability analysis of tower structure,this paper presented a optimization scheme for this type tower crane.
