With the rapid development of the modernization of the automobile industry,the global automobile production and sales volume has increased year by year,which leads to a series of problems such as energy consumption,environmental pollution and traffic accidents.In response to national calls,efforts to develop aluminum alloy material.Since the 6000 series of aluminum alloy has good forming and welding ability,moderate strength,but also could aging effect.When it is promoted as a lightweight body material,both domestic and foreign scholars and enterprises are very popular with it.But when the 6000 series of aluminum alloy as the material of the outer plate,elongation is insufficient at room temperature and aging effect is not obvious.In this paper,combined with aluminum alloy outer plate existing production process,we explore the new parts process: slab ~ solution treatment ~ stamping ~ pre-aging treatment ~ natural aging ~ coating baking.Through one-way tensile test,we can get each craft step of the material parameters of aluminum alloy sheet.It is considered that the forming performance of aluminum alloy sheet after solution treatment can be improved remarkably.After the solution treatment,the post-treatment can effectively solve the problem that the elongation of the sheet is insufficient and the rebound is serious.After forming,a reasonable aging treatment can significantly enhance the strength of aluminum alloy parts.At the same time,the improvement of forming ability makes further enhance of the strain enhancement.Through the numerical forming simulation,we analyze the influence of forming parameters such as "R" angle,friction factor,pressure margin and drawing strength on the forming quality.Pointing out that after the solution treatment the AA6016 aluminum alloy material can meet the deformation requirement of the outer cover of the hood.Compared with the original steel hood assembly the strength analysis,it is considered that the use of aluminum alloy material can not only significantly reduce the quality,but also not affect the mechanical properties of the hood assembly.After lightweight design,torsional characteristics,bending characteristics and the outer plate anti-depression strength of the aluminum alloy hood assembly have been significantly improved.The deformation recovery ability has also been improved.What's more,the stress concentration in the bumps has also been alleviated effectively.Compared with the original steel hood assembly the active safety analysis,point out that the head impactor strikes the hood assembly at a constant speed the aluminum alloy hood assembly deformation is greater.Large deformation could absorb more collision energy and reduce pedestrian head damage effectively.But it requires a large amount of deformation space.Based on AA6016 aluminum alloy sheet heat treatment to strengthen the performance,we put forward a new process: slab ~ solid solution of water quenching ~ stamping ~ pre-aging treatment ~ natural aging ~ coating baking.Through a large number of material performance test the numerical simulation model of forming and strength and safety performance of alloy plate was constructed.Which providing data support for the practical application of high strength aluminum alloy sheet in the automobile field.
