As one kind of solar energy heat utilization device,salt gradient solar pond,which has the functions of collecting and storing solar energy,is a hot research field of science and technology workers who are exploring the development and utilization of renewable energy.Based on the research status of salt gradient solar pond at home and abroad and in the full understanding of the solar pond forming principle,key technology and operation maintenance method,the concept of salt gradient solar pond heat power generation system is put forward.This mode of power generation system will be different from the traditional steam turbine generation system and semiconductor thermoelectric effect.Through a combination of solar pond and temperature engine,combined with experimental research and theoretical analysis methods,the solar pond thermal power generation system will generate electricity.The main research contents and achievements include the following aspects:This paper choose the strong solar radiation region to establish small salt gradient solar pond with the bottom area of 0.7?0.7 m2,top area of 1.5?1.5 m2 and the vertical depth of 1.1 m.The thermal performance of the solar pond was tested and the thermodynamic analysis was carried out,the collecting efficiency of solar pond is 13.6% which is consistent with the general characteristics of solar collector.The energy and exergy are calculated and discussed with the loss of different ways of solar pond taked into account.It is proved that the solar pond has considerable heat capacity,and the importance of good heat preservation measures to the operation and heat storage of solar pond is revealed.Then,a set of solar pond heat exchange system was designed and the solar pond heat transfer experiment was carried out.The solar energy in the solar pond is successfully transferred to the heat storage barrel,the efficiency of the heating system is 84% and the temperature rise of the heat storage barrel is up to 42.5?.What's more,the stability of the solar pond is analyzed theoretically,and the longitudinal temperature distribution of the gradient layer before and after heat transfer is analyzed.The results show that the phenomenon of salt diffusion in the solar pond is stable,but the concentration gradient is sufficient to ensure the stability of the solar pond and the suppression of heat convective.Finally,the test of the power module and the feasibility experiment of the system are done,the variation trend of output voltage with the increase of heat source temperature is obtained.The heat storage barrel after the solar pond is used as the heat source to generate electricity.The small salt gradient solar pond thermal power system has been successfully tested,not only for the operation and maintenance of the solar pond is of great significance,but also explores new ways of solar pond power generation technology and provides a reference for large scale solar pond-thermoelectric engine combined power generation.
