In recent years,with the development of economy,the energy shortage problem is becoming more and more serious.In the power industry,power plant is not only the power output,but also the power consumption.Electric power industry competition is more and more intense,competitive bidding,rising coal prices and other factors more requirements enterprises must improve their competitiveness,the development can be sustained and stable.So reducing the power rate of power plant factory,be imperative transformation of energy saving.Permanent magnet governor(PMG)is a new speed control device.The magnetic coupling technology is utilized to realize the speed control.A non-contact,high-efficiency running between the motor and load is achieved.At present,the technology is widely popularized in the field of domestic industry,and becomes an important technical way of energy saving transformation.This paper comprehensively introduces the permanent magnet speed control technology application and research status of power plant,the company through a permanent magnet motor speed regulation,introduces the processes and methods of implementing the transformation process,points out the characteristics of the new permanent magnet control technology,discusses the existing problems of the technology.These problems mainly include low speed stability,fast response,the stability of starting or reversing,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures for these problems.By running the actual situation after the transformation of the analysis,from the energy saving effect,to the power supply system,motor voltage requirements of the original system transformation and requirements,motor starting,power harmonic and power factor influence,the speed of the reliability,cost and other aspects of comprehensive analysis and comparison of the permanent magnet control and frequency control of quality.To provide reference basis for equipment selection of energy-saving technological transformation of the later stage motor.
