Study On The Traditional Spatial Pattern Of Chengcheng County Combined With Natural Landscape

China has a long history of urban construction.Each city has accumulated and nurtured a profound urban design experience and space cultural genes.However,lacking of awareness of the traditional experience of Chinese cities caused a lot of constructive destruction,and it also leads to a common problem that a large number of Chinese cities have profound history and culture background but barren historic space site.So,how to protect urban culture properly,inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional experience and reshape urban spatial pattern has become an important subject.Based on the above background,this article takes Chengcheng County which is Shaanxi historical county as an example to study.This paper focuses on the relationship of large scale composition between urban and mountainous and rivers,and traces to the origin of the urban construction combined with natural landscape.First of all,this paper conducts an in-depth study through the county annals,oral interview and field research.And the traditional space development process of Chengcheng County was systematically explored and presented.At the regional level,through the historical records of the literature,this paper makes a summing up of the Chengcheng County's historical spatial pattern.It is nine stages since the Spring and Autumn Period to the Republic of China.At the city level,this paper restores the traditional spatial pattern since the reign of Shunzhi,by the comparison of ancient and modern maps.And thus builds the basic database of Chengcheng County's traditional spatial pattern.Secondly,this paper carries out a document analysis and field research in the aspect of the large scale space axis,the meso scale icon and the city's key spatial structure tothe traditional spatial pattern of Chengcheng County combined with natural landscape.By applying the spatial analysis method of modern urban planning and using the text records with the relevant poetry,this paper scientific analysis the large scale space axis called "three vertical and one horizontal",and then quantitative interprets the four axis' spatial sequence relationship in the key area of the city.Finally,based on the above research results,this article explores the enlightenment on local planning from the historical experience of Chengcheng County.Taking the design practice of the important area of Chengcheng Old City as an example,the historical experience is applied to the renewal and development of the old city,and the planning and design of the excavation and protection,identification and strengthening,revival and creation integration of Chengcheng Old Town is formed.In order to provide inspiration for contemporary of Chengcheng city construction.
