Research On Spatial Pattern Of Traditional Villages In Anhui Province

The traditional village in Anhui Province is an important carrier of Huizhou culture,and also a strong proof of the harmonious between the nature and the development of human society during the age of the Impergium which has high value in terms of culture and academic research.It is necessary to carry out holistic regional protection of traditional villages under the policy background of increasing China’s cultural soft power and protecting Cultural integrity in the present.This requires a systematic,comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the spatial pattern of the traditional villages in Anhui Province in order to guide the practical work scientifically.Under the above background,this research carried a systematic study of the traditional villages in Anhui Province based on theories of various disciplines and aspects,including macroscopic spatial patter,contributing factors of village distribution,single spatial structure of villages,village protection and development strategy and so on.First of all,this paper briefly summarizes the natural conditions and history of development of Anhui Province,and tease out the origin and historical development of400 traditional villages.Subsequently,the paper utilized the National Traditional Village Directory and Google Earth to obtain the latitude and longitude coordinates of traditional villages,and the equilibrium,distribution type and nuclear density of the spatial distribution of traditional villages are analyzed by Arc GIS.Spatial pattern differences of traditional villages located in 11 cities of Anhui Province are included in the comparative analysis.The paper also analyzes the influence of natural conditions such as elevation,slope gradient,aspect and water system on the distribution of traditional villages,as well as the relationship between social conditions such as traffic conditions,urbanization level,economic development status and the preservation of traditional villages.This paper also explore the spatial structure of traditional villages in a localized perspective based on the macroscopic research.Based on the comprehensive view of the ecological,production and daily activities,the basis functional unit of typical traditional villages in Anhui province is deconstructed,and the spatial pattern of the villages with six typical structural elements,such as boundary,substrate,corridor,center,group and logo is summarized.Finally,from the macro and microscale,the strategy and development idea of implementing the holistic protection of Anhui traditional villages are suggested in this paper.The purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretical basis for the regional and holistic protection of traditional villages,and to provide a new reference for the protection and sustainable development of traditional villages in Anhui Province.
