Masonry structure has a wide range of applications in China,but this kind of structure is susceptible to serious damage in the earthquake,including collapse,which restricts the application of masonry structure in seismic fortification area.However,the actual earthquake damage shows that some of the masonry structures retained in the earthquake show good seismic performance,especially the window under the wall before the destruction of the masonry structure.Compared with other damage modes,this failure mode has the advantages of strong energy consumption,easy to collapse,easy to repair,etc.,is the seismic design should be used in the destruction mode.However,the current research on the failure mode of the wall under the masonry structure window is not sufficient,and the current design code does not consider this failure mode.In this paper,the method of theoretical research and experimental study will be used to reveal the mechanism of the wall structure of the multi-story masonry structure,and the method of determining the failure mode of the open-wall is established,which will lay a foundation for establishing reasonable seismic design method of masonry structure.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The finite element analysis method of finite element method is established by comparing the analysis and the test of masonry structural material,and establishing a reasonable multi-story masonry structure wall.,The full-scale model is established,the stress distribution of the open-wall wall of the multi-story masonry structure is analyzed,and the stress distribution law of the window wall and the window wall is obtained,and the method of determining the failure mode of the masonry wall is established.A three-piece masonry wall with static loading in the quasi-static low-cycle reciprocating environment was established by finite element method.The results of the wall test with the same size and the same stress were used to verify the mechanism of force and the determination method.(4)Using the method of determining the overall failure mode of the multi-layer masonry structure,the aspect ratio of the inter-window wall,the cross-height ratio of the window wall,the relative stiffness ratio between the window wall and the window wall,Influence of Wall Failure Mode on Masonry Structure.The results show that the finite element analysis method can accurately reflect the mechanical performance of the masonry wall,and the overall failure mode of the wall under the masonry structure has better seismic performance than other failure modes.Can more accurately reflect the masonry structure window under the wall of the overall failure mode conditions.
