This paper aims at combined with the research progress and application of practices to powdered activated carbon + submerged ultrafiltration membrane as the core technology based on Qingcaosha raw water quality characteristics and processing features.This paper presents a new land-type water purification process and verifies its applicability through the test certificate.An important water source in Shanghai city-Qingcaosha Reservoir water from the Yangtze River Estuary,turbidity less than 10 NTU,pH value 7.7 ~ 8.6,CODMn in1.6~3.3mg/L,DOC in 2.2~3.2 mg/L,UV254 in 0.020~0.044 cm-1,Fe and Mn concentrations were both at 0.1 mg/L and 0.01 mg/L or so.The average concentration of ammonia nitrogen was 0.1 mg/L,and the concentration was slightly higher in winter,Br-concentration is high in winter,water quality is generally good.Qingcaosha raw water algae and 2-MIB concentration change obviously with season.The density of algae is higher in the summer and autumn: the total number of algal cells up to 10 7 / L,2-MIB concentrations up to 400~600 ng/L,concentrations of MC-LR and chlorophyll were low.Through the treatment effect of raw water from Qingcaosha in Changqiao water treatment plant,we can find that conventional water treatment processes are effective in removing turbidity,but less effective in removing other targets,especially high algae and the odor caused by algae.According to the characteristics of Qingcaosha raw water quality,this paper raise and designs a new combination process,and the process is as follows: Raw water ?coagulants(liquid aluminum sulfate)? flap mixing water flocculation ?Sedimentation ? PAC reflux pool ? submerged ultrafiltration water.The technology can give full play to the biological and adsorption effect of PAC,combined physical ultrafiltration with the interception.Therefore,this process has a high decontamination capacity: the amount of oxygen removal is 27-34%,ammonia removalefficiencyis73-79%,UV254 removal rate is 38-40%,turbidity ? 0.1NTU process ensures that greater than 99%,which can effectively remove algae,bacteria and micro /trace organics.The process has good application and spread prospects.Operating results with powdered activated carbon + submerged ultrafiltration membrane mrocesses demonstration project in Shanghai Xu Jing waterworks are as follow: water turbidity ?0.1NTU guarantee is 100%,less affected by the fluctuation of influent turbidity;CODMn removal rate reachs 31%,the effluent CODMn maintained at about 1.3 mg / L;for semi-volatile organics removal efficiency than conventional technology.
