| Recent years, with the development of universities and the transformation of universities’ educational concept, there have appeared many problems in the landscape space of old campus. As the carrier of campus culture, the old campus, whose landscape space quality is very important, now required general and urgent update and renovation. This paper, from the perspective of POE(Post occupancy Evaluation),took the first campus of Harbin Institute of Technology(hereinafter referred to HIT)as example. With the methods of Behavior Observation,Questionnaires,Cognitive map and SD Scaling in POE,this paper studied the landscape space of the first campus in HIT.After analysis,it proposed revocation strategy for it.At the same time, combined with the current situation of the old campus of other colleges and universities summed up the principle of universal transformation,to provide reference and new perspective of research for old campus revocation.Firstly this paper explained the concept of landscape space for universities’ old campus and POE.Based on the research of related documents and case study in home and abroad,it combed the knowledge related to the update of landscape space for universities’ old campus and POE method, which laid theoretical foundation for field research and data analysis. On this foundation,it designed POE research program for HIT first old campus, which started from buildings, streets, outdoor communication space and public infrastructures. What’s more,it analyzed the usage and priorities of landscape space in HIT first old campus, and then summarized the problems in current status. Finally, targeting specific problems,it proposed corresponding strategy and plan of update.Besides, during the research process,it concluded “four fine” principle suitable for the update of old campus’ s landscape space,i.e.,creating fine environment, presenting fine culture, making fine design and plan, making fine growth.Combining theory with empirical research, this paper proposed guidance for the update of landscape space in HIT first old campus,to provide high quality campus landscape environment for users, and hoped to benefit later update of old campus’ s landscape space. |
