Self-centering structure is a new type of structure which put components together by using post-tension prestressed rebars and energy-abosorbing devices.Self-centering structure is charactered by easily assembling,good earthquake resistant behavior,minor residual deformation and repairable aftershock.Although domestic research still in the phase of theory exploration,some foreign countries like America and New Zealand has introduced relevant standards which have already been used in some projects.The research of this paper focus on self-centering concrete frame structure and contains three different areas.Firstly,self-centering beam was tested to observe its moment redistribution and vertical carrying capacity.Finite element software ABAQUS was used to simulate and analysis the influencing factors of self-centering beam's moment redistribution and carrying capacity.Secondly,self-centering concrete beamcolumn joints was analysis with finite element method,based on the result of finite element research,energy consuming ability and vertical carrying capacity were tested.Finally,one-span,one-layer frames were tested under the seismic load,applying different axial compression ratios and earthquake intensity to study failure form of frames and compare the story drift.The result shows that self-centering concrete beam can perform as well as traditional cast-in-place continuous beam in vertical carrying capacity when the reinforcement of interface is proper,self-centering beam has good ductility.The plasticity development of self-centering beam is positive correlated with special reinforcement.Increasing the moment contribution of special reinforcement can improve energy-consuming ability of self-centering joint,the deformation recovery ability performs well in this research.Under the action of earthquake,the elastic and elastic-plastic story drift limit of selfcentering structure can be increased.
