| With the rapid development of urbanization, the traffic problems of small city are increasingly prominent. As the limited of the road traffic resources, how to make full use of the road traffic resources, to improve the small city traffic congestion has attracted more and more attention. Intelligent transportation systems(ITS) came into being under such circumstances.Although some ITS technologies had been implemented in Haining City, a typically middle-sized city located in the southeast of China and famous for leather industry, traffic congestion phenomenon happened periodically in morning and evening peak time every day. Based on investigation and analysis on the traffic flow, three main reasons were put forward which can result in traffic congestion, i.e., insufficient traffic route guidance information, simple information dissemination style with only characters or quantity and no response when traffic guidance information disseminated. We provided this city with the traffic route guidance information platform, alleviated the congestion of the city in some degree, which can also be a demonstration for other small or middle-sized cities. The main work is listed as follows:Firstly, facing the problem of insufficient traffic route guidance information, this thesis changed the dissemination process of traditional traffic guidance system and inserted SVR-IGA traffic flow prediction algorithm after data preprocessed. The thesis awared the state of road traffic in advance and early warned the traffic congestion through this algorithm.Secondly, in order to solve the problem of simple information dissemination style,the thesis set up middle-sized city traffic guidance information dissemination platform,on which different types of information can be disseminated.Finally, to deal with the problem of no response when traffic guidance information disseminated, the thesis proposed an event-driven state feedback method. The platform had three main functions, i.e., screen and camera positioning; real time video display of camera, remote access to middle-sized city traffic route guidance information. |
