AC servo motor act as an important executive component of industrial robot servo system,although a number of domestic firms have begun to research and made some progress,some products have been applied in the domestic industrial robots.However,compare with foreign high-performance AC servo motor,there are still lots of distance to cater to the needs of the high-level industrial robot temporarily.This thesis is mainly focused on the AC permanent magnet synchronous servo motor(AC servo PMSM)for industrial robot application,with the key technical issues of the AC servo PMSM have been researched,complete the design of a high-performance AC servo PMSM,which cater to the high-level industrial robot application.Firstly,the background and significance of this thesis was expounded,and the level of foreign and domestic situation and its trend of development of the AC servo PMSM for industrial robot application were analyzed.The cognition of the AC servo PMSM has become the main drive source of industrial robot was deepened.The working principle of PMSM was introduced,the structure of PMSM,especially the rotor structure and characteristics were introduced.The steady state performance and design technology of PMSM was introduced.The performance of the servo motor is designed in this thesis was determined with reference to foreign type of AC servo PMSM performance parameters.Then according to the design principle of PMSM,the performance parameters are calculated by using the RMxprt,a preliminary design of a 155 frame size 3.5kW AC servo PMSM for industrial robot application was done.Secondly,the key technologies of the AC servo PMSM for industrial robot application were researched,and the key technologies include high power density,good dynamic characteristics,large short-term overload capacity,small torque ripple,high-reliability compact structure.Combined with the research of the key technology,which calculated and simulation analyzed by using of RMxprt and Maxwell 2D,core materials,core length,winding number,permanent magnet thickness,air gap length,permanent magnet shape,the number of skew pole section of the rotor were chose according to the optimization effect,and oil seal,photoelectric encoder,power-off brake,which relative to the high-reliability compact structure were also chose according to the optimization effect.Renewal model after fine-tuning by using of the Maxwell 2D was analyzed,the simulation results show that the design is reasonable.Then the electromagnetic design sheet was exported.Finally,combined with the factors of automatic production methods and other considerations,the motor parts were selected with reasonable,the stator plate and rotor plate were fine-tuned,and the assembly diagram was exported following compact structure design of the whole motor was completed.Then the task of the AC servo PMSM for industrial robot application was completed.
