In areas rich in water resources,development and construction of small hydropower has reached a large scale,has become an important part of the electrical energy supply.Also,having a dispersion of small hydropower development,in situ into a network,the nearest power supply,etc.,lower the cost of electricity,it is a useful complement to the large power grid.For transient line faults,reclosing is widely used to a certain extent,improving the reliability of power supply,but in the rich region of small hydropower,small hydropower grid tie line when a fault occurs,often due to the wet and dry seasons contribute quite different,cause for serious imbalance between electricity,but also makes the success rate is very low reclosing.In this paper,Maoming Gaozhou distribution network in small hydropower grid line reclosing low success rate,through model simulations,proposed to increase the number of small hydropower grid line measures reclosing success rate,and programming,research and development of a suitable the practical application of reclosing.This paper expounds the necessity of the research of the problems in the current social conditions,analyzed the existing small hydropower grid line reclosing problems;secondly,building the simulation model in small hydropower distribution network based on PSCAD,through testing under various conditions action model,including small hydropower in different locations and different access network capacity and access network in different ways under various conditions of small hydropower grid lines and distribution lines in the conventional relay protection and the similarities and differences of the small hydropower reclosing was detected over the same period,and no study of synchronizing pressure under different closing success rate,found by reclosing can effectively delay to improve the switching success rate;then,shortage of small hydro power distribution system after reclosing in the process of operating,and according to the actual production operation in Maoming Common problems existing in Gaozhou power grid small hydropower water period overvoltage,the currently used "reclosing mode put forward the improvement plan,write action logic;finally,the hardware design,reclosing device software function and program design,and the test is running in good condition.
