Concrete is a common material used in engineering and widely used in many fields,such as civil engineering structure and nuclear power station.The analysis of the mechanical properties and durability of concrete has important theoretical significance and practical value.In this paper,the fatigue life of the crumb rubber concrete beam is analyzed by the combination of experimental research and finite element analysis.Firstly,the rubber particle size of 5 mesh,20 mesh,40 mesh and rubber content of0%,10%,20%,30%,40% were added into normal concrete by substituting the same volume of fine aggregate in this paper.Rubberized concrete samples were made as water/cement ratio of 0.45 and the cube compressive strength test and the bending strength test were performed.Ensuring the optimum particle size is 40 mesh according to the mechanical properties.Secondly,the rubber aggregate concrete beams made by the rubber particle size of 40 mesh and rubber content of 0%,10%,20%,30%,40%were tested by the axial compression and four points bending test.And the experiment phenomena and test results were analyzed.The nonlinear analysis of the crumb rubber concrete beams was performed by leading experimental parameters of the different rubber contents for this size into finite element software.Finally,the stress-strain results and parameters of the fatigue performance were importing the fatigue analysis software to analyze the fatigue properties.And the effect of different rubber contents on the fatigue life of crumb rubber concrete beam was studied.Its main contents include:1.The rubber aggregate concrete specimens were tested by the compressive strength test and flexural strength test to determine the optimal size of rubber particle.And the rubber particle sizes were 5 mesh,20 mesh,40 mesh and rubber content were0%,10%,20%,30%,40%.The axial compression test and four point bending test for a variety of rubber contents of the crumb rubber concrete beams were performed.The influences of mechanical properties of the crumb rubber concrete on the content of rubber were studied through comparing the experimental phenomena and results.2.The nonlinear analysis for different contents of the crumb rubber concrete beam was performed by finite element software.And it studied the development on cracks of the crumb rubber concrete beam bent by combining experimental phenomena.The cracking load,ultimate load and crack resistance of different contents of the crumb rubber concrete beam were studied because of results of nonlinear analysis.And it provided the theoretical basis for analyzing the stress condition and failure process of the crumb rubber concrete beam.3.The stress-strain results and parameters of fatigue performance were importing the fatigue analysis software to analyze the fatigue properties.The S — N curves of different rubber contents for concrete beam were obtained by fitting computing results.The calculation result of fatigue life and the S-N curve of concrete beams with different rubber contents were analyzed.The relation of` the fatigue life of rubber aggregate concrete beams to the content of rubber and the stress level was found out.
