Asphalt is an important material in modern transportation construction.With low-cost,anti-slip,driving comfortable and easy maintenance asphalt pavement is popular to the construction department all over the world.But in the strong ultraviolet radiation environment the asphalt pavement will shorten the using cycle.Improving asphalt anti-ultraviolet aging and researching new pattern to prolong the service life of asphalt roadThis paper primary research the change laws of chemical constituents and penetration,softening point and ductility in highway asphalt with different amounts of light stabilizer in the progress of photoaging,Which analysis chemical composition and tests physical property by three kinds of common organic modified asphalt.Synthesizes different kinds and amount of additions influence on anti-aging of modified asphalt.ascertain the optimum amount of additives to experiment density with aggregates and Marshall specimens.The experimental results are analyzed to optimize the experimental parameters to test the optimal Marshall stability.The Marshall stability and flow values on the optimum amount of modified asphalt are test also.The results of the studies is listed as follows:(1)Several kinds of organic light stabilizers in the study can effectively improve the degree of asphalt anti-aging,To the same pavement asphalt there’s different photoaging degree in it.Between pavement asphalt and waterproof improvement degree is different.,Which have the same kinds and amounts.(2)The optimum amount of pavement and waterproof Asphalt modified by UV-9 Which belongs to benzophenone was 1.5%.The shear resistance of modified pavement asphalt and waterproof asphalt is better than that of unmodified asphalt and increases as the asphalt quantity increases,The ductility of asphalt at low temperature of modified asphalt is higher than the unmodified asphalt and instead of decreasing with modified waterproof asphalt.The effects of the amount of asphalt mixture and the type of asphalt on the performance of pavement asphalt.The rutting resistance of1.5%UV-9 modified pavement asphalt is improved and the water stability is reduced.The rutting resistance and water stability of 1.5%UV-9 modified waterproof asphalt slightly reduce.The water absorption of two kinds of modified pavement and waterproof asphalt Marshall is less than 2% and the void fraction is less than 6%.(3)The optimal amount of pavement asphalt modified by UV328 and UV329 which is a kind of light stabilizer of benzotriazole was 1.5% and 1.0%respectively.Compare to pavement asphalt modified by UV328,Pavement asphalt modified by UV329 has better shear resistance while pavement asphalt modified by UV328 has better ductility.Modified pavement asphalt by UV328 and UV329 has good low-temperature cracking resistance and water stability,The pavement crack resistance at low temperature in the 1.5% UV-328 modified pavement asphalt,water stability is better than that of 1.0% UV-329 modified pavement asphalt.The performance of Modified asphalt indexes meet the requirements of the road.(4)The optimal amount of pavement asphalt modified by methyl MQ silicone resin and BTA is 1.5%.Modified pavement asphalt by methyl MQ silicone resin and BTA have higher shear resistance but lower ductility at low temperature than unmodified pavement asphalt.Both of the modified pavement asphalt have good performance on low-temperature cracking resistance while the water stability show a decreasing trend. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | pavement asphalt, Organic light stabilizer, photoaging, asphalt additive, applied research | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
